Finance Officer (part time). The Word for the World UK - part-time - 3 days per week. To be responsible for the day-to-day financial management of the Charity in the UK in line with best practise and Governance as set out by the UK Financial Authority, The Charity Commission and HMRC regulatory bodies.   The Finance Officer will report to the UK Director and the Board of Trustees and will  present a monthly finance report and notes, along with ad-hoc reports as required, ensuring that effective and appropriate control measures and procedures are in place in accordance with the above. Regular reports to funders, donors, and providers of Agency funding will also be required. The Finance Officer will supervise/manage the current part-time bookkeeper.
