At KICK, we are motivated to respond to a sense of hopelessness in many young people today as 1/3 of young people aged 15 identify with a mental health condition, 2million grow up without a father at home, many are disconnected from local communities with 95% now not attending church. It was established to provide loans to Christian churches and associated organisations at the lowest practicable rate of interest. It also takes deposits and holds a portfolio of investments with a market value of £17 million.   The Company is seeking to appoint a non-executive director in anticipation of a planned retirement. The appointment is intended to be for an initial term of three years, and for a maximum period of nine years.   It is hoped that applicants will have expertise and experience in investment management and / or legal services.
