Purpose of the Role The Worship Pastor will join an existing Worship Pastor as part of a growing worship team, working collaboratively to lead and cultivate worship across St Aldates. This role exists not as a replacement, but as a strategic investment in creating capacity as we respond to the opportunities and growth we are seeing across the church community. Together, the Worship Pastors will help shape and strengthen the worship culture of St Aldates through leading worship, developing teams, discipling musicians and leaders, and contributing creatively to the sound and expression of worship within our community. The role requires someone who is both musically gifted and pastorally minded, with a heart to raise and invest in others. To lead, develop, and pastor the church’s ministry to children (0–11), pre-teens (11–14), youth (14–18), and families — helping them encounter God’s presence, grow in community, and participate in God’s mission. This role will shape the discipleship of the next generation and play a key part in the future leadership and culture of Kings Road Church. Kings Road Church is in a season of exciting growth, with over 100 people attending each week. We currently meet in a local school on Sundays and have outgrown our existing building. Plans are well underway for a new church centre on the original site, and we are seeking a leader who will help shape the future of our young people’s ministry for generations to come.
