Children's & Families' Minister This is an exciting opportunity to oversee and develop our children’s and families’ ministry including Sunday children’s groups, toddler groups, family support and schools’ work. We are looking for a dynamic, relational leader who will help children to follow Jesus, support volunteers in their role and work alongside parents. You will have vision, energy, wisdom and sensitivity to take forward this ministry. You will be an initiative-taker and a team-builder. St Mary’s is a vibrant Anglican church in the village of West Horsley, Surrey, where people have been worshipping Jesus Christ for nearly a thousand years. Rooted in that history and standing on the shoulders of those who have been before us, we’re trying to proclaim the never-changing good news of Jesus Christ, the gospel, to a new generation of people and believe that Christ’s teaching remains fully relevant for all stages of life in today’s busy world. Working in conjunction with the Youth Pastor and CYM Lead, you will be responsible for developing and growing our ministries with children (0-10s), focussing on Sunday mornings, and community outreach events.  This role is Part time initially, but with the scope for it to grow to a full time position in the future, if circumstances allow. 

Helping children, young people and their families encounter Jesus as Saviour and grow into lifelong disciples of God, filled with the Holy Spirit, is at the heart of this role.  At Hardwick Evangelical Church we are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Ministry Leader for Children and Young People to lead and develop this ministry within our church and local community.
