Part-time-(13 hours per week) We are looking for an enthusiastic Jesus-loving leader to inspire our young people and grow our youth ministry. We are looking for someone with passion, creativity and a heart for seeing young people find Jesus. The role will include the following:  Lead and develop existing youth group and other social events for ages 11-18+ Build relationships with young people, helping them to explore and grow in their faith Work alongside and guide a team of passionate adult volunteers Bring fresh ideas and energy to existing youth programme Help young people feel connected to church life and the wider community Role starting date early 2026 Come and be a part of what God is doing at Sutton Elms Baptist Church- where faith, fun and community come alive!

Developing the ministry at Gorsley Baptist Church (GBC) for the 11- early 20s and supporting the transition from Children’s work into and youth, working with the children’s worker. Working with an established volunteer team, families, community groups, and engaging in a variety of events. Building connections with the youth and their parent/carers. Currently we run two groups on a Sunday across 11-18’s, one of the groups helping transition those in the youth group into main services and serving on teams. During the week we run a youth club, for about 20 young people.  It is important that the person who gets this role engages naturally with the wider church. Full job description attached.
