This includes overseeing, planning and participating in weekly youth activities, walking young people through key transitions (Kids to Youth in Year 6, younger to older youth, and sixth form into adulthood), building genuine community among them, and offering pastoral care that takes seriously the pressures they face today. The primary focus of the role will be to lead the growth and development of BCC’s missional outreach to kids and families (with a 75% focus on u11s but a supporting secondary focus on supporting the Youth, aged 11-18.) This includes planning and working in collaboration with existing staff and volunteer teams. Currently, we have over 250 children and youth regularly involved.
