Job Purpose The Children (0-11) and Families Outreach Leader exists to develop mission pathways that engage children and families with the church and offer them opportunities to hear about Jesus, decide to follow him and develop their faith as part of a church community. The Transition and Social Media Enabler will initiate and lead a ‘Children and Youth Transitions Outreach’ programme, connected with New Worshipping Communities (NWCs) in the Encounter project, in collaboration with local parishes and schools and the Resource Church at All Saints Hanley, supporting all the Encounter satellites in using social media as a tool for mission and discipleship. They will oversee a part of the children and youth work, both in schools and NWCs, that focuses on the transitional years between primary and secondary education enabling the young people to continue their faith journey.
