The successful candidate will work alongside the present outreach team of volunteers, the Centre Manager and the Elders to plan, maintain and run a calendar of outreach activities for the local community, both at the church and out in the community itself. He/she will nurture our church’s strong link with its youth organisations and endeavour to develop stronger links with hall hirers who meet at church. Through communication and networking, he/she will make our church more visible and viable in the local area, establishing and nurturing partnerships and meaningful relationships with organizations throughout the local area, to help those in need in our community. The successful candidate will encourage, enable and develop a volunteer workforce and contribute consistently to our social media presence and evaluate the impact and effectiveness of events to plan future initiatives effectively.

An exciting opportunity for someone passionate about helping children to discover God’s love for them.   We are a lively and family-friendly church with great teams that help run Messy Church, Play Café, Holiday club and much more. The successful applicant will work with children 0-11 years in our church and local schools, building on established children’s and families’ work and developing closer links in the community. You will be part of a supportive staff team who encourage each other and will manage and lead teams of committed volunteers. Training can be provided.
