We are looking to recruit a suitably gifted person to join the Leadership Team and enable the church to fulfil its vision, with this role being particularly focused on the areas of pastoral care and discipleship. They will be someone who loves God, is hungry for more of Him, is servant hearted and able to join in leading others deeper. They will be authentic and biblically rooted, enabling them to lead by teaching, inspiration and example. Working with the existing Leadership Team and staff, they will further the ministries of the church with direction and encouragement. Our vision is to reach our community and as such, they will be passionate to communicate the love of God and good news of Jesus to everyone. We have a membership of 100 – 120 including children. We have a wide range of weekly activities to meet the varying needs of the church and local community; young, old and everyone in-between. An exciting opportunity for someone passionate about helping children to discover God’s love for them.   We are a lively and family-friendly church with great teams that help run Messy Church, Play Café, Holiday club and much more. The successful applicant will work with children 0-11 years in our church and local schools, building on established children’s and families’ work and developing closer links in the community. You will be part of a supportive staff team who encourage each other and will manage and lead teams of committed volunteers. Training can be provided.
