We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Christian with a passion for reaching out to and discipling children and young people. The successful candidate will help All Saints and St Andrews in the fulfilment of our mission statement ‘Knowing Jesus and making him known in our community and beyond’. This is a full-time position, but we are actively open to applications from individuals looking for part-time hours (0.5–0.8 Full Time Equivalent) or those wishing to apply as a job-share pair. York Community Church is a growing intergenerational church in the east part of York, established in 1993. Our vision statement is ‘Together, to know God and make Him known’ and we are part of the Pioneer Network. We meet together on Sunday mornings and in midweek small groups and we have various ministry and mission activities throughout the week for all ages. We are seeking an experienced, passionate and committed Children’s Outreach & Ministry Lead to join our staff team. This is a new role, offering an exciting opportunity for the right individual to develop and lead the outreach to children, serve in local schools as well as playing a significant role in the ongoing children’s ministry of the church.  37 hours per week.
