Perform preventative maintenance of medical equipment as directed by the Senior Biomedical Technician. Types of equipment on board are: Anesthetic systems, ventilators, CR X-ray, CT, Ultrasound imaging, OR and Ward equipment, YAG lasers and ophthalmic devices, autoclaves, oil-free compressors, dental suites and generators up to 35KVA. May be expected to live off ship in team house and spend approximately 2-3 days per week training local biomedical technicians in local hospitals and the remainder of the time assisting ship biomedical technicians.

You will support the Crew Physician and oversee the work of the Crew Clinic Administrative Assistant in establishing and maintaining a well-functioning Crew Clinic, supporting our volunteers with the best possible care when needed.
