The role is vibrant and varied. You will take accountability for the direction, oversight and delivery of our ministry with children and young people, in the context of the church’s wider vision and mission as outlined above.
A key element of the role is building and supporting self-sustaining volunteer teams with the goal of growing children and young people as disciples of Jesus Christ.
You will work in close partnership with the church minister as part of the staff team.
You can download our recruitment pack here cambournechurch.org.uk/vacancies which contains an overview of the Church, the recruitment process, and a job description for the role. The post is initially for two years, with the prospects of extension.
Cambourne Church is committed to being a Christian community which is open, prayerful, and loving, which serves Cambourne with the good news that there is a loving and forgiving God, and where disciples of Jesus Christ are made. In this commitment, we feel upheld and led by the Spirit of God who is present in all our activities, and to whom we seek to be attentive.
We are a thriving evangelical church, a partnership of the Church of England, Baptist Union, United Reformed Church and Methodist Church, situated to the west of Cambridge.
