We are seeking to appoint a Staff member for Children & Families ministry. This is a new and exciting post and we wish to appoint a person who has experience of work with Early years children in a church setting and has a desire for evangelism with Families.  The post is for 15 hours per week which will involve leading and organising activities for Children (Early years) on Sunday morning and midweek.  We are a welcoming family orientated church serving the local community. The purpose of the role is to lead and resource our work amongst children aged 0-10 and their families – within the church and the community, including, where possible, the local schools. Reports to: Vicar Liaises with: St Thomas with St Stephen (STwSS) staff and volunteers Base: Parish Office, St Thomas’, Telford Avenue, SW2 4XW Working hours: 37.5 hours a week. Weekly working patterns to be agreed, but to include Wednesday mornings in term time and Sundays. There is the possibility of reduced hours, but a minimum of 30 hours per week is required. Renumeration: A salary of £24-29k per annum will be payable, dependent upon experience, with a three bedroom maisonette provided for a generously subsidised rent of £500pm (to include council tax and water rates).
