My client has a large portfolio of supported living projects and offers generic housing management and supported housing services. Vacancy Brief: * The job role is that of a Tenancy Support Worker. * This is a potential temp to perm vacancy. * A full-time role, 35 hours per week * Work pattern is Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm * Pay rate for this vacancy is £14.06 PAYE or £18.00 Umbrella. * This vacancy will require you to drive, 0.45p per mile will be paid for work-related travel. * A current Enhanced DBS will be required for this job role. * Full UK Driver’s license and access to a vehicle is needed. * Successful candidate will be supporting clients affected by homelessness, substance misuse and single families. The Responsibilities: * As a Tenancy Support Worker, you will support tenants to sustain their tenancies by helping with housing benefit claims, signposting to relevant support services, and liaising with external agencies when required. * In your role as a Tenancy Support Worker, you will empower and motivate service users to identify their goals and work towards positive, measurable outcomes, including greater independence and successful move-on. * You will work closely with the Housing Management Team to issue and sign up new tenancies, ensuring service users fully understand and accept their tenancy responsibilities. * As a Tenancy Support Worker, you will also support the organisation to meet voids and rent arrears targets, ensuring compliance with tenure law, housing policies, and procedures. * You will be responsible for ensuring required health and safety checks are completed, taking appropriate action where issues are identified, and providing housing-related support to vulnerable individuals alongside property and tenancy management duties.
