Maternity Cover Cleaner

6 - 9 month contract

Salary:

£12.71 an hour (£4956 - £7435 pro rata) (£24,784 per year if full-time) 

Weekly hours 

15 hours (2-4 hours a day, 4-6 days a week)(Preferably early morning but work schedule adaptable to the applicant's availability that also works with our building needs)

Example could be: 5am-8am 5 days a week.

Cleaner duties and responsibilities:

These duties include but are not limited to:

•            Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming and mopping surfaces in their work area including living/working areas, the church’s main auditorium, entryways, lobbies, bathrooms, kitchens and supply closets

•            Refilling and restocking cleaning supplies and toiletries (hand wash, toilet paper, paper towels)

•            Sometimes soaking or deep cleaning mops and other cleaning supplies

•            Keeping cleaning supply cupboard tidy

•            Maintaining cleaning products and communicating to the admin team about ordering new supplies when necessary

•            Taking out the garbage

•            Carrying out minor maintenance tasks such as replacing displaced toilet seats, unclogging sinks

•            Conducting monthly disinfection and deep cleaning

•            Communicating with admin team any maintenance issues or ways to make the cleaning process more efficient.

Ideal start mid June
