Location: Salisbury, Wiltshire
Salary: £28,000–£32,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Full-time (part-time/job share considered)

Salisbury Baptist Church (SBC) is a welcoming, evangelical Baptist Church in the heart of the beautiful Cathedral City of Salisbury. We're passionate about helping people of all ages know Jesus, grow as disciples and serve our community. We seek to be 'Christ in the Community' through worship, discipleship, outreach and practical service, creating an accessible church where people of every age and background can belong and flourish.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Associate Pastor with a focus on youth.  Working alongside our Senior Pastor, you'll help shape the spiritual life of the Church through preaching, teaching, pastoral care and leadership, while giving particular focus to developing and growing ministry amongst young people. You will build relationships with young people, families, schools, and the wider community. Recruit, encourage and develop volunteers and ministry teams. Finally, you will contribute to the wider vision, mission, and leadership of the church.

·       Has a vibrant Christian faith and a clear sense of calling.

·       Supports SBC's evangelical Baptist identity.

·       Values teaching, encouraging and developing others.

·       Has experience of Church leadership or ministry.

·       Has a heart for young people and discipleship.

·       Works collaboratively and enjoys building teams and relationships.
