Here at Strathaven Evangelical Church we continue waiting prayerfully on the Lord for a pastor. As we wait, could this be your time?
Our aspiration for the new Pastor is that he will have a warm heart for people and a deep love of God’s word. He should also be able to engage winsomely with people both within the church and the community across a range of contemporary theological and cultural issues. His instincts will be for collaborative working within the established leadership team, whilst leading in discipling and developing spiritual gifting.
Every week we see many from our community enter our building to engage in our toddler groups, community support, creative activities and more. Our pastor will have a shepherd's heart to personally engage and to lead us in touching these lives and introducing them to Jesus.
Jesus said to his disciples "Come and See". Many are coming, will you help them see?
