Songs of Life (Caneuon Bywyd) is a Methodist initiative in North Wales that seeks to create new Christian communities among people who may feel on the margins of society. Rooted in Bangor, Llandudno, and Connah’s Quay, the project will use music, poetry, and storytelling as a creative and accessible way to bring people together, build relationships, and explore faith. Methodists Cymru is seeking to employ a Faith and Community Worker to lead this project. This will involve making connections with people in each location, using the performing arts as a means of starting conversations about faith. Monthly community gatherings will take the form of an open-mic night, hosted by the Faith and Community Worker. An exciting role to help develop our growing work with children, young people and families.  St. Alban's serves the community of Beacon Hill and Hindhead in SW Surrey, 13 miles south of Guildford. We already have active groups for all ages and good links with local schools. We are looking for someone to build on the work of our current Worker, as they leave at the end of the summer. There is a team of willing and able volunteers with a heart for seeing children, young people and families come to know Jesus Christ. This is a part time role with a salary of £25-30K (pro-rata).
