The youth work in our parish has expanded quickly over the past few years and we are now seeking a candidate to help support the mission of our parish for the future. The successful candidate will be involved in leading new all-age congregations, schools work, youth groups and more as they work alongside an experienced team of clergy and lay people.  We hope to grow the missional impact of our parish by investing in this role to inspire young people and raise up new leaders. The primary purpose of this role is to offer leadership, guidance and support to churches in the Hull Area Team concerning their ministry to and with children, families and young people. The postholder will identify opportunities to engage with children, families and young people in some areas, and will help to develop existing work in other areas. The role also includes being part of the Yorkshire Synod WILDERNESS team to deliver a central program of work with children and young people. This is a flexible post with no fixed office space. The post holder will be expected to work from the churches, and some element of hybrid/home working may also be necessary.
