Developing the ministry at Gorsley Baptist Church (GBC) for the 11- early 20s and supporting the transition from Children’s work into and youth, working with the children’s worker. Working with an established volunteer team, families, community groups, and engaging in a variety of events. Building connections with the youth and their parent/carers. Currently we run two groups on a Sunday across 11-18’s, one of the groups helping transition those in the youth group into main services and serving on teams. During the week we run a youth club, for about 20 young people.  It is important that the person who gets this role engages naturally with the wider church. Full job description attached. Kardia is a ministry under Hope Church Lytham and is an early intervention mental health resource that equips youth leaders to tackle mental health issues with teenagers. We are seeking an energetic and motivated individual to drive forward and promote Kardia. The ideal candidate will be a devoted Christian, an advocate for young people and will be passionate about good mental health. The post holder will work alongside the founder of Kardia to make a difference in the lives of teenagers nationwide.
