This is an exciting full-time opportunity for a dynamic and creative youth worker to lead and develop this ministry within our Church and local area, working to build engagement with children and young people. You will be part of a ministerial team comprising an experienced Methodist Minister and Children & Families Worker. We have an existing team of experienced volunteers who you will lead, develop and work with to implement new initiatives and reach out to local schools.

The appointment is a full-time, fixed 2-year contract (37.5 hours per week), which may be renewed. It is expected that at least half of the work will be conducted during evenings and weekends, with at least one day per week free of responsibilities.
Salary will be in the range of £26,120 - £27,861 per annum. A NEST pension will be provided, as well as 20 days holiday, plus 8 statutory bank holidays.
It is a Genuine Occupational Requirement that the holder of this post is a practising Christian whose lifestyle is consistent with the values and doctrines of the Christian faith. This post requires an enhanced DBS disclosure.
