Senior Events Manager | Up to £53,000 | Perm | Hybrid (1 day per week in the office) | Old Street
We’re partnering with a highly regarded international charity to appoint a Senior Events Manager to lead a dynamic and globally recognised events programme.
This is a standout opportunity for an experienced events professional to take ownership of a diverse portfolio, from high-profile corporate engagements to large-scale fundraising initiatives. You’ll play a key role in shaping strategy, driving income, and delivering exceptional experiences that engage senior stakeholders and partners on a global scale.
Working closely with the Director of Development, you’ll lead on the planning and execution of complex events, ensuring they are commercially successful, strategically aligned, and delivered to an outstanding standard. You’ll also manage and develop a small team, while building strong relationships internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and deliver a strategic, high-performing events programme. This includes annual and bi-annual events across the globe, giving you the opportunity to travel
Lead end-to-end delivery of complex, high-value events
Manage event budgets to ensure strong ROI and cost-effectiveness
Build and maintain senior stakeholder and partner relationships
Oversee multiple events simultaneously across different regions
Line manage and develop junior team members
Identify opportunities to grow income and enhance event impact
Ensure all events are compliant with risk, legal, and H&S requirementsPerson Specification
Proven track record delivering large-scale, high-quality events
Strong experience in fundraising and/or corporate events
Ability to manage complex projects from concept to delivery
Commercially minded with strong budget management skills
Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing ability
Confident communicator with strong presentation skills
Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Strong leadership skills with experience managing or mentoring others
Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
Creative thinker with a solutions-focused approach
Experience working with senior stakeholders and external partners
Knowledge of event compliance, risk management, and H&S
