Role Description
1. Administration of Mission Housing’s financial systems, including its accounting, bookkeeping and banking services
2. Lender management
3. Other tasks
4. Attitude and approach
This role would suit someone with no previous housing experience, or someone with several years of experience. We would adapt the role, and the training provided, accordingly.
At Mission Housing, our focus is supporting key Christian workers to fulfil their mission in areas of England and Wales that have unmet economic, social and spiritual needs; particularly areas where the need is great, and resources are few.
We help individuals, couples, families, churches, and organisations by offering a range of housing solutions to enable our associates to live in the areas they are ministering to, as this has a huge impact on their relationships with those they support.
However, the current housing market, throughout England and Wales, poses a significant challenge to the majority. The reality of soaring property prices in these areas has created a substantial barrier, particularly for key Christian workers striving to secure a place to call home.
Mission Housing is dedicated to supporting key Christian workers in England and Wales by providing affordable housing solutions - primarily through shared ownership and the occasional tenancies. Through the generosity of supporters, we help bridge the gap between high property prices and the vital work being done in these communities.
