Waking Night Support Worker
Earn £150 to £160 a night as a Waking Night Support Worker at Goldcrest Lodge, keeping children safe and settled until morning.
Working arrangements
Location: Goldcrest Lodge, Liphook, Hampshire
Salary / Pay: £150 to £160 per night, equivalent to approximately £15,600 to £16,640 per year pro rata based on 24 hours (2 nights per week), or £23,400 to £24,960 per year based on 36 hours (3 nights per week)
Shift Pattern: 7:00pm to 7:00am, part-time (24 or 36 hours), including some weekend work

Cherry Trees provides specialist, home-from-home care for children with complex disabilities across our two homes in Surrey and Hampshire, giving families a vital break, while helping children build confidence and independence.
What you'll be doing
Direct care
Carry out welfare checks throughout the night, at least every 15 minutes where required
Comfort and settle children who wake during the night
Follow care plans and medical guidance for each child
Household duties
Complete laundry and light food preparation as needed
Clean and maintain communal areas including toilets and floors
Records and handovers
Complete daily reports and record incidents or medication given
Hand over clearly to the day team each morning
What we're looking for
Caring, patient and reliable with strong communication skills
Able to stay calm under pressure during night shifts
Comfortable working independently overnight
Committed to safeguarding children and promoting their wellbeing
Experience in residential childcare desirable but not essential
Enhanced DBS check, or willingness to obtain one
