Communications Manager – 40,000 PA - North Kensington, London, W10 5XL Can you turn community stories into creative campaigns that inspire people to listen, engage and act? Are you experienced in managing digital channels, producing multimedia content and building trust with local communities? The role Westway Trust is seeking a communications Manager to develop and deliver campaigns across digital, social media, multimedia, press and internal communications. Key Responsibilities · Develop and deliver annual communications and marketing plans. · Lead the Trust’s digital and social media strategy. · Manage websites, microsites, social platforms and the communications calendar. · Create multimedia content, including videos, newsletters, annual publications and marketing materials. · Manage media enquiries, press contacts and coverage monitoring. · Oversee internal communications and help colleagues create effective content. · Ensure communications meet brand, editorial, accessibility, data protection and legal standards. · Analyse channel performance and recommend improvements. · Build relationships with community groups, tenants and external partners. · Deliver the marketing strategy for Portobello Road Market. · Deputise for the Senior Manager when required. The person · Experience delivering communications and marketing strategies within a community-focused charity. · At least 12 months’ line-management experience. · Strong website, digital-channel and social-media expertise. · Experience in media relations, performance reporting and multimedia production. · Video-editing skills and an understanding of ethical storytelling, accessibility and GDPR. · Excellent writing and relationship-building abilities. · The organisation to work independently and manage competing deadlines. Experience using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Canva, CapCut, Illustrator, InDesign or Photoshop would be useful.
