UCB 1 Presenter

£27,000 - £30,190 yearly

Job Description

Do you have the passion to encourage, entertain and edify listeners across the United Kingdom?

We’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Presenter to join our UCB 1 on-air line up. This exciting role requires a positive personality, an abundance of creativity and a heart to serve the UCB1 Team and the wider organisation.

Working closely with colleagues across our Broadcasting teams, you’ll prepare audio, research and script voice breaks, conduct interviews and host live/tracked radio programmes that connect with listeners and reflect UCB's Christian mission and values.  All this while ensuring output is engaging, technically excellent, and compliant with the Ofcom Broadcasting Code.

The successful candidate will be a confident communicator with a passion for Christian radio, a good ear for audio production, and a strong knowledge of contemporary Christian music. You will be organised, adaptable, and eager to develop new skills while contributing to the ongoing sound and success of UCB1 Radio and social media platforms. Above all, you will be committed to UCB's vision of Changing Lives for Good by the Power of God's Word, with an active Christian faith and involvement in a local Bible-believing church.

If you believe this role is for you, please read the detailed Job Description on the UCB website, carefully complete the Application Form and submit it, together with a 3 – 5 minute ‘Radio Demo’ crafted to sound like you’re hosting a programme on UCB1.  Please send an mp3 to our HR team at hr@ucb.co.uk.

This position is currently based at our Broadcast Centre, Hanchurch Lane, Hanchurch, Stoke-on-Trent, ST4 8RY. On completion of our new Broadcast Centre (late 2026), the position will be relocated to Westport Road, Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, ST6 4FJ.
