Holy Trinity & St Mary’s Guildford (htsmguildford.org) is seeking a full-time Family & Children’s Minister with an inclusive vision of the Gospel to lead in the Ministry Team on building and extending our work. We are connected with a large number of children and young people through our amazing church choir and our links with our church schools (among others), and there is real potential to develop this work in exciting ways on Sundays and across the week. We offer warm, welcoming congregations, a large, highly-supportive and encouraging team of ordained and lay ministers, paid and voluntary, and a commitment to make this role the top priority in our resourcing in the years ahead.
We’re not perfect. But we are open to growth, change and the insights that someone with the right experience and gifts can bring. If you fancy working in a busy town centre parish with a commitment to traditional and, more recently, contemporary worship, a vision that excludes no one (and really means it), and which is ready for a change of culture in this area of its ministry, give us a try.
Enhanced DBS required. There is a genuine occupational requirement that the post-holder be a practising Christian.
Closing date 17 April
