Marketing and Storytelling Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Marketing and Storytelling Coordinator supports Greater Europe Mission’s marketing, storytelling, and internal communications efforts to help share what God is doing across Europe, both inside and outside of GEM. This role blends creativity and organisation, from crafting engaging social media content to managing storytelling pipelines and assisting with internal communications. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator with extremely strong administrative skills, a good design eye, and the ability to collaborate across a global, remote team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Marketing support
a. Create and edit graphics, reels, stories, and other content for GEM’s social media channels.
b. Design and produce marketing materials such as flyers, webpages, graphics, and whitepapers.
c. Contribute to special projects and initiatives as needed.
d. Manage a system of print and digital materials.
e. Assist with the implementation of targeted marketing campaigns.

Storytelling team administration
a. Provide administrative support for GEM’s Storytelling Team, such as scheduling meetings,
managing the content calendar, and tracking story assignments and leads.
b. Maintain and update the team’s project pipeline from idea to publication.
c. Keep the photo and media libraries organized.
d. Contribute to content creation that can be shared across GEMi and sending entities.
e. Help to onboard and coordinate with new team members.

Internal communications assistance
a. Create and send emails periodically, in collaboration with the internal communications team.
b. Assist with administration and organization of content and announcements.
c. Design and edit email templates as needed.
d. Provide communication support for GEM Events team.
e. Support internal GEM teams with design and content requests

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a hybrid office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop
computers, smartphones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and scanners.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position, and the days and hours of work are flexible.

TRAVEL
This position requires up to 10% travel, some of which is international.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• A BS/BA degree from an accredited college/university; MBA or MA/MS in a related field.
• Minimum 1-2 years working on a marketing or communications team or environment.
