Who We Are
St Katharine’s is a vibrant and welcoming church at the heart of the village of Holt. Our church family is authentic in faith, empowered by the Holy Spirit, and expectant for all that God will do in us and through us.
Alongside our regular Sunday worship, we offer a range of activities and outreach events for all ages, including a thriving Tiny Tots group, Café Church, Outdoor Church and invitation suppers. These activities reflect our wider commitment to growing ministry among children, young people and families.

St Katharine’s Church, Holt, Wiltshire is a village church with a dynamic and evangelical theology, seeking to reach the least and the lost across all ages in the local area. St K’s is a growing church family with increasing prayer opportunities including 24-hour prayer once a week. There is a heart to pray for and see healings happening, and an outward vision that has transferred well to our online presence. Engaging with our wider community in the village and beyond is a key feature, and we look to support and connect with local events from the school, preschool and community groups. This takes place in face-to-face events and, during the Covid pandemic, we have looked to engage actively online through social media. We have a strong network of home groups who meet weekly and are keen to develop new initiatives that draw in families of all ages. Our most recent venture has been to set up Outdoor Church once a month, complete with a fire pit in the churchyard. This has been particularly successful at drawing in dads and their children and has provided a much-needed safe space to relax and discuss faith in relaxed but still intentional ways.
