As an Assistant Accountant in Lincoln within the Not For Profit sector, you'll play a key role in managing financial tasks to ensure the smooth running of operations. From preparing reports to supporting financial planning, your work will help maintain accuracy and efficiency in the organisation's Accounting & Finance department. Our client is offering a salary up to £40,000 with study support and hybrid working available in Lincoln. Description Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports. Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes. Support month-end and year-end financial close activities. Reconcile accounts and ensure compliance with financial regulations. Assist in preparing for audits and liaise with auditors as required. Provide financial insights to support decision-making across departments. Monitor expenditure and ensure alignment with budgets. Support the Accounting & Finance team with ad hoc tasks as needed.Profile A successful Assistant Accountant should have: A background in accounting or finance, ideally within the Not For Profit sector. Proficiency in financial software and strong numerical skills. An understanding of financial regulations and reporting standards. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Excellent organisational and time management skills. The ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.Job Offer Competitive salary ranging from £35,000 to £40,000 dependent on the level of experience.
