Fields in Trust is looking for a warm, proactive and highly organised Philanthropy Manager to cultivate meaningful relationships with major donors, advocates and high-net-worth individuals. You will manage supporters throughout the donor journey, create personalised engagement and stewardship experiences, and help grow the philanthropic income that supports the charity's mission.

Description
Manage and steward a pipeline of existing and prospective major donors, high-value volunteers and advocates, building trust and increasing long-term support.
Work with the Chief Executive, Trustees and senior leadership team to cultivate relationships through tailored meetings, briefings, visits and donor events.
Identify, research and qualify new prospects, responding promptly to introductions from advocates, landowners, professional advisers and existing supporters.
Create compelling proposals, cases for support, personalised communications, impact reports and supporter updates.
Collaborate with colleagues across the charity to gather the stories, evidence and insight needed to inspire potential funders.
Manage the donor pipeline, income forecasts, reporting requirements and deadlines, ensuring commitments and restrictions are understood and delivered.
Maintain accurate records of interactions, applications and activity using the charity's CRM system, Donorfy, and provide regular performance updates.
Contribute to Fields in Trust's income generation strategy and ensure fundraising, prospect research, donor due diligence and gift acceptance comply with relevant requirements and policies.Profile
A natural relationship-builder who is warm, confident, personable and skilled at making people feel valued.
Experience of building strong relationships and networks with high-net-worth clients or supporters.
Experience of managing high-value relationships through the full donor journey.
A clear understanding of the differences between commercial and philanthropic relationships.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience creating compelling proposals, cases for support or tailored funding submissions.
Curious and proactive, with the initiative to identify opportunities and follow up quickly.
Highly organised and reliable, with the ability to manage multiple relationships, priorities and deadlines.
Confident using CRM or database systems to manage relationships and maintain accurate records; experience of Donorfy would be an advantage.Job Offer
Salary: £50,000 per annum
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Hybrid working: A minimum of two days per week in the Clerkenwell, London office
