£28,115 – £29,127 per annum
5 days / 37.5 hours per week
Location: Witney, Oxfordshire (this is an office-based role)
Open Doors is a Christian charity that is looking to recruit active, practicing Christians to stand in the GAP (give, act, pray) on behalf of persecuted Christians worldwide. Every day, millions of Christians risk their lives to follow Jesus. In more than 70 countries, Open Doors supports them by supplying Bibles, providing emergency relief and helping persecuted believers stand strong for the long-term.
We’re looking for a Christian* to join our Supporter Relations Team in Witney, helping to build deep, lasting relationships with our supporters, volunteers and churches across the UK and Ireland.
As a key point of contact for Open Doors, you will respond to enquiries by telephone and email, make outbound calls to connect with and encourage supporters, and help people discover more about our work, campaigns and resources. You will have the opportunity to develop relationships with people from a wide range of backgrounds, ensuring that every interaction reflects the heart and values of Open Doors.
This is a varied, people-focused role that combines excellent customer service with administration, communication and relationship-building. You will need to be organised, confident using IT systems, attentive to detail and able to manage a busy workload while responding to people with warmth, sensitivity and care.
You will have the opportunity to use your God-given character and talents to contribute to the work of Open Doors and to work with integrity and with purpose. We offer a flexible role with a good work-life balance, huge job satisfaction and employee benefits. You will work with some inspirational people and there are plenty of opportunities to develop your career.
For an informal chat about the role, you’re welcome to contact our Supporter Relations Team Leader or Supervisor on 01993 460015.
Please note: Applications will be reviewed as they are received, and we reserve the right to close the vacancy early if a suitable candidate is identified before the advertised closing date. We therefore encourage interested applicants to apply as soon as possible to avoid missing out on the opportunity.
We welcome applications from candidates of different backgrounds. If you are a Christian* looking to make an impact and seeking a new challenge in 2026/7, here’s how to apply:
Closing date: Sunday, 22 November 2026
Interviews: Tuesday, 1 December 2026 (in-person)
*There is an occupational requirement under Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010 for this post to be held by an active, practising Christian who assents to our statement of faith.
